10th Series Test Description

10th Series Test Description
Beaver Run Farm, 572 Gosa Road, Leesburg, GA

Water Triple with 2 Flyers and 1 Retired Bird and an Honor

The Tenth Series is a Water Triple that features 2 Flyers, 1 Retired Bird and an Honor at the end. The birds for this test are all ducks. The test is located at a beautiful lake with uncounted shoreline features. The mat sits on the back side of a  road that crosses the pond on a levee to the handlers left

The order of the birds will be as follows:

Bird #1 is a Drake Duck Flyer. The gunners are well up the far shore. They throw and then shoot their Duck Right to Left with the bird landing approximately 298 yards from the mat. As the dog swims to this bird they must cross several points up front including the one with the flyer gun station for bird #3. The gunners will retire after they shoot this bird. (we will refer to this bird as MRF for Middle Retired Flyer)

Bird #2 is a dead Hen Duck. This gunners come out from a well dressed blind to throw their Duck Left to Right. This bird lands approximately 261 yards in front of the mat. The gunners will retire when the dog picks up their 1st bird. To retrieve this bird, the dogs must navigate along the right shoreline and then commit to a long swim across to the bird. (we will refer to this bird as RR for Right Retired)

Bird #3 is a Hen Duck Flyer. This gun station is just to the handlers left located out at the tip of the 2nd point. The gunners throw Right to Left and then shoot and then sluice the hen, which will land approximately 92 yards from the mat. (we will refer to this bird as LF for Left Flyer)

This test is taking approximately 15-18 minutes per dog to complete.

Dog #2 Starts this Series
